Is IELTS Mandatory for PR holder to get a job?

Hi Friends, My spouse has applied for Canada FSW EE with me as dependent. I did not take IELTS to claim points. We got our ITA now and have submitted our documents. We are now hoping to get our PR soon.
Once we get our PR I would be looking for a job to work in Canada. My skills fall under skill level A.

I would like to know if companies ask for IELTS score while hiring? Will IELTS be useful anywhere post we get our PR? Any thoughts and personal experiences are Welcome. Thanks in advance.

No, employers don't ask for IELTS scores. It will be useful if you apply for citizenship.
