Is IELTS cerificate number and IELTS candidate number same?

Hi all,
Today I got my ielts results..while applying express entry profile it asks for certificate number..is it different from candidate number? .I still didn't receive my score card they mail.. how long does it take to receive score card..

Please clarify my doubt, should I wait till get the TRF from IELTS, or can I create my profile in EE.

Yes, TRF number is different from candidate number.
Unfortunately you have to wait till you receive hard copy.

The test report form number is what you need. It is usually at the bottom of the certificate and is alpha numeric.

It usually takes 10 to 15 days for the certificate.

I think they are asking for Test Report Form Number. So its different from candidate number.

You can create EE profile but for IELTS language section you can leave it incomplete while you can fill up other sections. Once you get the TRF number you can then fill up those language details.

I guess it takes 2 weeks to get by post.

By the way the Test Report Form number is located on the bottom right side.

Got clb 9 -- 8.5L 8.5R 7.5W 7S. Is there any way to access soft copy?

Did you check online? I am not sure but i think they do provide an ecopy of certificate. IDP or british council?

I think you will have to wait for the post to get the hard copy. As per my knowledge TRF number cannot be seen online anywhere.

I think we might have a draw today. If you can make some calls to their call centre and get this bit of information, and your score is high enough to make the cut off, it will be bonus. Draws are an expensive comodities these days.

Hmm I read thru some posts and came to that there might be a draw today.
But I Tried my luck, the reached British council customer care and they said there is no possible way.
I calculated the score it comes only to 438.
Its my bad luck, even the results were late by a week. If I would have got last week, by now my TRF would have been with been.

No other go I have to wait for a week or so.

I don't know where your BC results are coming from but British Council India is in shambles. Its just British for name shake but their operations is more like sluggish govt organization.

If you have a issue and you call them then they ask you to email them & then you get a email back that they will forward the issue to respective department & you don't hear from them.

Yeah, Mine is from India.

Anyhow the score for 27th was way too ahead than mine.

Hope I can apply before next draw.

On hard copy of ielts test result, it says date - 25th may, 2017 (Ielts Exam date: 13-may-2017)however I got my online result on 26th may, 2017. And in express entry profile I have 26th may, 2017 as date of result.
Is it OK or not?
