No need.. You can create a statement and submit it the very next day of creating FD. 6 months rule apply only for the money innbank account.

If your sibling is transferring fund to your account within Canada, does the gift deed has to be made in bank letter head or can we make a document(pdf/word)?

Gift deed will be a separate document, better to get it notarized by a lawyer in canada.

Hi
I received ITA and for proof of funds i am showing gift deeds from my mother and father and from my husband too..my husband recieved money from his parents as a help because from 3 years he was monthly transferring those amount in their account.
Can show 3 gift deeds?
Whether my husband need to show the source of funds? And he should also have to show it as gift deed?
I am in real confusion as i will submit almost 3 gift deeds affidavit.
Moreover, i am doing all this because this all income are genuine even they didn’t borrowed from anyone
Is it ryt to show more than one gift deed?
Please help

I am not an expert, however, other people have recommended to use one Gift deed in this forum. you can one thread from legalfalcon about gift. Its very informative. If the money is in your or husband account for more than six months then you dont need to show gift deed. you dont need a gift deed from husband , if you are showing his account then you can only submit one affidavit from him that these funds will be at your disposal.

Hi, My father credited the amount for my settlement in Canada in multiple transactions over the period of a few months.

I was however, not satisfied with multiple transactions, so I transferred the amount back to my father's account and requested him to formally gift me the money through a single transaction and by declaring it in a formal notarized affidavit.

Then my father credited the gifted amount in my other bank account which was in dormant for a few years through a Banker's Cheque which doesn't have my father's name on it.
I have the Scanned copy of Banker's Cheque
Bank Statement of this reactivated (previously dormant) bank account
Notarized Gift Deed

Is sufficient enough? Do I need to include the bank statements of my first account having the credit of POF money in Mulitple Transactions?
Do I need to include my Father's Bank Statement to prove the credit of gifted amount in my account?
