Is fort mc murray better for a newcomer to settle in Canada for the first time, than settling in ontario?My friend told me its easier to get jobs and the pay is far higher and we will have more spending power.I will be arriving as a permanent resident and want to settle soon.I thinking about settling in toronto,oakville, hamilton or burlington, since I have relatives that live in these areas already.But my friend told me and family would be able to make it better in fort mcmurray whats your opinion?

Housing is pretty expensive in fort mcmurray.. and its really cold too..
I'd say look for other options if you can..
