Note: Earlier this course was called as PG Diploma -- but now it has been renamed to Executive PG Program. I doubt if this updated name creates an issue, as it doesnt have Diploma in its name. Please help.
Is Executive PG Program from IIIT(Bangalore) - 13 months course from UPGRAD considered as 1 year masters by WES ?

From what i have seen from the forums I reckon that, only Master of business Administration programs from IIM will be evaluated by WES which will be given Canadian Masters equivalency. I am not sure how's it with the specific program you did. But in the past several candidates with same qualification from the same university received different Canadian equivalency from the WES. All MBA's from India except from IIM is not considered or provided an Canadian equivalent masters. WES may provide master equivalency for your specific qualification if you proceed. Your luck mate. It depends

I strongly believe this course (Executive PG Program from IIIT(Bangalore) - 13 months) won't be considered as Masters. Because many candidates who did two year full time course from universities from your country were not awarded the masters equivalency by the WES. The courses equivalent to Canada Masters will be - MBA (2 YEAR) IIM's , MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (2 YEARS) IIT's & Other Universities & MASTER OF ENGINEERING (2 YEARS) from all universities except some shady deemed universities.
