Is electronic version of police report allowed?

Hey,

My government has an option to give the police report in electronic form (PDF). Do I need to actually scan a physical report for EE application, or can I just forward the same PDF to CIC?

What country is this for?
 
Lithuania provides this option of electronic police report.

I'm currently in Canada, so I was thinking maybe it's faster to get the report from Lithuania in electronic form.
 
I wouldn't recommend it.

If it is in color format, it should be okay

We have the same service here but I was advised to go get it from the place itself since the document online has a barcode and I was not sure if they would bother verifying it.... just try to get it to be on the safe side...
 
Perhaps it depends on the country. My color US PCC was only issued in electronic form.

I saw people who got rejected for that reason, but confused about that matter. In my case I had to do a "legalization" of my Spanish PCC because is electronic. And now I am trying to find the way to do the legalization for the Portuguese one, but I can't find any info.

can I ask if anyone could help me that how could I get a Police clearance certificate from Lithuania while I am here in Canada?

I shall be very thankful.
