Well mine was around 2 months before she got the letter. We filled in Feb 5th and she got the letter in April around the 16th it said they started her file in Sao Paulo around the 12th of April.
Well my sponsorship letter was dated June 1/10, said the PR application was forwarded to Santo Domingo, so it hasn't been 2 months yet, so maybe I will just wait a bit longer...then enquire again.
I never got a letter containing it myself until the PPR, i did submit an enquiry at one point via the website though and they relpied with my B number in the subject line (i used my client ID to submit the question)
I did send off one email already, using the client ID, so hopefully soon I will hear something and get a B-file number and be able to check the status online. Thanks for all of your input, greatly appreciated.
Last year, we had a failed PR application as "conjugal partner". I recieved the sponsorship approval from CPC-M, the file was transferred to Buffalo, my partner got his AOR and then a refusal. I was never able to sign into e-cas at any point through the process.
We now have a PR in process as spousal sponsorship. My sponsorship approval was dated May 25th. Then I could log into e-cas. As it turns out, they assigned the same client ID as the previous submission and now I can see all the e-cas information from last year :
At this point I see decision made for CPC-M, but there is nothing (showing "not available") for the Buffalo processing. According to the sponsorship approval, the file was transferred May 25th. Not quite 2 months.
