Is distance MBA from Welingkar, Mumbai recognized by IQAS for Canada PR?

Hello everyone,
I have a distance MBA in finance from Welingkar University, Mumbai. Although AICTE accredited, I've heard WES does not recognize distance learning from this university. Has anyone had experience getting this assessed by International Qualifications Assessment Service - IQAS for the purpose of applying Canada PR?

Appreciate any insight since their website is not very detailed...

Hi Was your degree from Welingkar considered by IQAS. I have a one year diploma in retail management from Welingkar.

Yes, I think IQAS AND ICES both are giving post graduate diploma for

the PGDM.

Please guide me if your PG was considered? As i have distance PGDM in Marketing from Welingkar and WES did not considered it. I need to know if IQAS accepts it or not, so that i dont waste time and money if its same as WES

I completed my MIM (Masters in Information Management) degree from Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai. It was a 3 year part-time MBA course and I got the degree certificate from Mumbai University. I evaluated this degree from WES and they recognized it as "Postgraduate diploma (one year)".

Is there any chance that if I evaluate it from IQAS, they will consider it a Master's degree? Did anyone access this degree from IQAS? if yes, what was the output? Based on your responses I will make a decision to send my transcripts to IQAS at the earliest. Please guide. Any help would be grateful!
