Is Dec 29 too late to send CEC

Just realized I have to provide certified translation of my birth certificate as well so that's gonna take me a little while. I'm planning on getting my app in there the old way and also apply under EE just to be on the safe side. Do you guys think Dec 29 is too late to send to CIO via overnight FedEx? Will they "receive" it in time before deadline?

Hey im no expert or any thing but the cic site says before end of December so as long as it physically gets there before the end of the month you should be good

1 more question i have submitted my P.R file under CEC current rule on 19th december. Expected delivery is showing 24th december... In such case suppose if its late .. My application is consider under current rule or it will be returned back... worried about xmas holidays

I would assume that it will be under old rules because i dont think they will take the rest of the year off its the same as any where else u get a few days off then back to the grind stone so it should be fine they should be back in the office a few days after holidays are over

As long as it is received at the CEC office by 31st Dec you will be fine
