Is the CSQ document needed for landing? Will the officer ask for it?

If yes, is a scanned copy of the original is enough? or it has to be the original?

According to CIC it is required:

EDIT : but i heard sometimes immigration officers don't even ask for it, so....

Hi
Yes they did not ask me when i arrived here.

Did you need it for the PPR though? Does the visa office request it in order to give you the COPR?
Also, does it show in the COPR that you have an approved CSQ on file?

With regards to the first two questions, the answer is No.

Thank you for the information.
Seeing that you had a PPR, would you please confirm if it shows in the COPR document anything about CSQ once you receive yours? Thank you.

Sure will do. I am not expecting to receive it before another 2-3 weeks. It has been two weeks already -_-

No, it is not asked on landing.

But, CSQ is asked on everything else in Quebec, for Medical Insurance, for Driver's license, sometimes for employment. It is usually side by side with your COPR.

Just bring your original CSQ with you all the time, especially on landing, because sometimes the officer will look for certain documents, not just the CSQ

My only concern if it's needed for landing, because my lawyer have the original document and if it's needed then i will ask him to send it.
If it wont matter then i can pick it up once i land.
Hoping for PPR soon though.

I am not sure if it is really needed.
I landed in Lacolle land border -- the officer did ask me for the CSQ: "Do you have your CSQ?"
He took a brief look at it and then returned it to me.

Yes the CoPR does include the CSQ file number under it. It is preferable that you keep it with you, you will need it almost everywhere.

Thank you for the information, I appreciate it.
My lawyer just sent me the CSQ by post and i should receive it in the coming days.
