Good evening... Its my first time in this forum and I'm planning to write an exam as RN or RPN.

if i'll be granted to write an exam, do i need to apply for a Temporary resident visa or CNO will grant me a visa...

Thank you, still confused of the process

If you require a visa to enter Canada, you will require a visa to enter Canada to take an exam.

CNO doesn't grant visas, CIC does. You will have to apply to CIC and ask for the visa. You will need to show ties to your home country and that you will leave after taking the test. As you're trying to become licensed to practice nursing in Canada, that may be difficult to prove. You will need to also show funds to cover your travel expenses, at least $2000 CAD for one month plus funds for the flight home and/or a return ticket.

Start here by determining your eligibility and looking at the application: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/tourist.asp
