Is canadian immigration posible after 40 ?

There couple of forum members here who made it when they were ~40 in age. Assuming you are 40, what's your overall CRS? Will be helpful if you can post your CRS breakup(education, experience, language, etc) here so that other members can suggest better.
Possible, but very hard... I am 51 when I submitted my federal PR application.
Almost every consultancy I asked, including Campbell and Cohen, told me I have very little chance of making it. And they were correct. Had to go through a "make-or-break" "all-in" gamble through SP to PGWP to Non-EE PNP route. My odds were 99 to 1. Do I recommend it? Only if you have the grit and guts. You have to be mentally, financially and emotionally prepared for it.

Yes, its possible - one just needs to know how to increase CRS and work towards it!
Possible. What you do need to work on is the probability of getting the ITA.
It does close quite a lot of options at 40 but we don't really know your profile - inland or outland for eg.

Tough to do but not impossible. You also need to consider the difficulty getting into the job market and whether you will be able to save enough for things like burying a home, retirement, etc. It is much harder to transfer into mid management position in Canada than an entry level position unless you are transferred from another country to Canada. Many have to start a career in Canada starting with entry level position if they have had held a more advanced position abroad. It is harder to start from scratch in your 40s versus your 20s or 30s.

Most people I know of who got PR at a higher age either got it through some non-EE PNP using a job offer or through some sort of entrepreneurship, like buying/establishing and building a business.
