Is CAD equivalence mandatory in balance certificate

Hi,
My bank is not ready to show CAD equivalence in balance certificate. They say they have a standard template which will only show in local currency. Is it mandatory to show CAD equivalence in balance certificate is there any alternative

Don't worry, no need to show CAD equivalency. CIC agents will calculate it according to a preset average.

I am showing my POF from my spouse account so we have a declaration that states i have access to his account with xx balance equivalent to xx cad. I have given cad based on current exchange rate is that ok or should i remove cad equivalence from this declaration
