Is Biometric required for parents visit visa(Indian)

Dear Friends

I am working in Canada since last one year. I am planning to bring my mother to visit me this summer.

Can someone confirm if my mother needs to visit in person for Biometrics .
Can I can apply online and submit documents online.

Check out the link above. As India is not on the list of countries required to supply bio-metrics, they should be fine without them.
