Hello,

Please tell me that is it mandatory to have a bank statement to apply for Quebec Immigration?

or there is no need to have bank statement at all in the entire process.

waiting for some answers....

What bank statement? Bank statement is required for education permit or investors visa.

It's not necessary for Quebec Skilled Workers.

Its not required for CSQ but of course you should expect it during your permanent residency application via CIC

Hi Cutebony,

If it is required during federal stage, what would be the amount required to be shown? federal stage(~$11K) or Quebec(~3K)

Thanks

Does your check list mentioned the bank statement? I applied through PEQ and there is no such thing, at the end I got my CSQ with out it.

If one is claiming points for financial sufficiency then a bank statement is needed. Otherwise not required to apply for Quebec.

Not to get CSQ but for Canadian PR application with CIC.

Not clear about this, in the PR check list does not mention it.

For QSW, you do not have to prove you have sufficient funds, neither for the CSQ application, nor for the PR application.
For the CSQ you have to fill and sign the "Contract of Financial self-sufficiency". For the PR, there is nothing on the checklist regarding finances.
In general, just follow the instructions and checklists applicable to you and you will be fine.

They "may" ask for proof during landing (I haven't heard about it happening but I guess it's possible). In that case I believe you should be able to show the amount stated in the Contract of Financial self-sufficiency.

HOPE and flyer110 are correct.

It's not an option if applying as QSW. One must sign the contract and get the corresponding point. Otherwise, they get rejected.
