Is Bank Draft the same as Demand Draft ? - URGENT PLEASE HELP

I have received the Ontario PT. I need to make a payment of 1500$. In India is it Demand Draft or Bank Draft ?
Does Demand Draft work for payment ?

Both are same...just different terminologies being used by different entities.

Yes demand draft is the mode of payment. You can see the details in the application guide: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps.pdf

Also please be aware of the following:
1) You need to take draft in an recognized bank with international presence. If you are India, you can choose SBI, HDFC, ICICI etc...
2) You need to submit form 15 CA, CB from a chartered account to bank as this is a foreign currency payment.
