Hi All,

I have analysed to be eligible to apply for Canada PR, as I am getting 68-69 points.
I am now confused if I should apply for express entry with assistance from immigration Consultancy for PR assistance Or file it myself online (As the process seems simple).

1 of the immigration consultant told me that once we get ITA, the documents submitted by Immigration lawyers are preferred first as compared to the local files or documents submitted by the candidate/local applicant even if the candidate qualifies for his scores. Is this really true?

Please assist.

I don't think that is the case at all. No preference is given. Save money and apply yourself.

No. Not true at all.

This consultancy also isn't telling you the whole story about Express Entry, if they have only told you about the 68-69 points so they can claim you are eligible and get your contract for your services. I suggest you stop continuing with them.

Save yourself a lot of money and the potential to be duped and file the application yourself. You can find all the help available here with people sharing personal experiences. No matter what your consultancy says, they have no idea about the process and have no special powers to get you a PR.

They have no special power is agreed, but they have no idea will be too much. Do you know out of 10 rejected files most of them are those who have not opted a consultant.
Do you know the future of this forum?
And see after the 9th may update the forum is hardly moving.

I would prepare the PR package myself and then I would present it to the consultant to take a second look at it. If you’re not familiar with the PR process then I would hire someone who’s knowledgeable to do it, you spend money and you save some headache; that’s just my opinion. Plus the express entry score is not correct at all

Good luck

Nice but adding to it...even you are familiar and you dont have that time and confidence.
