Is Application Returned equivalent to Visa Refusal?

Dear Guys,

My application package has been returned on 11 th Sep. I do not know the reason since I am yet to receive it(I confirmed the status by calling them). So, is it equivalent to Visa refusal? No money was charged to me.

No its not necessarily visa refusal. It could be that there is something u failed to include or error in filling any of the forms. When you get you package back read the letter that will acompany it from CIC and then know where the problem is, do the corrections and send back to CIC unless if you NOC is full. Many successful applicants have had their initial applications returned.

No it is not a visa refusal or rejection. It just means you were ineligible.

Application Returned never means Visa Refusal. If you are willing to reply:

As your application is on the way to you back.

Gather all your documents again as they might not send you back the documents.

Once you receive your package back
> note down the UCI
> Prepare your new application (note what was the reason of failure and try to change that)
> Make your new FDD in case it's expiry is less than 5 months
> Mentioned UCI in your new Application (Generic Form) as that will help them to locate your original documents that is IELTS + Police Certificate for you.
