Winnipeg is the slowest city along other Manitoba cities for Citizenship process, nowadays average 8 months are required to process citizenship application in Ontario, 12 months in Alberta, 14 months in BC but Manitoba is still around 22 months average. Why Manitoba is so slow? No one can give a clear answer but fear among the applicant from this is that Winnipeg racism rumours might also be affecting the process.

Do any body any other reason, Why Winnipeg applications are going so slow?, where is the ?

Of what benefit is it to the gov't to discriminate against PRs in a particular province? It is more likely that Winnipeg has fewer officers processing a large volume of applications.

Yes, argeed.

Winnipeg is slow (and has always been slow) because they only have one citizenship judge for all of Manitoba and I think up until recently that judge was part time. That is the main reason why processing is slow.
