Is anything mailed if you provide email addresses? COPR?

Hi,

We received a PPR and submitted visa VFS, paying a bit extra to have the passport couriered back to us. What I'm wondering, is if there is anything sent via mail to the applicant? I'm asking because on my husband's ECAS, the residential address is still showing as his old one even though I have sent numerous case specific enquiries trying to update this information.

I'm worried something will be sent to this address and we no longer live there...in fact, in general, mail isn't delivered to actual physical addresses in Dubai.

I ordered GCMS notes two months ago to see what the actual mailing address was on file.

So far we have been receiving correspondence by email...but is anything generally mailed?

The COPR will be arriving together with the passport. That is the last document you will be receiving prior to landing, and then when landing they will ask for a mailing address in Canada to send the PR card.

Thank you ! I sent another address update (in case they actually look at those things) and I won't worry about it then as the passport / COPR will be returned to us by courier through the VFS office. Take care,
