Alhamdellah... I finally got my passport request last Thursday, before hitting the 13th week mark by 15 mins!!!! Today I received my LOI on mycic.

I really don't understand how some people get theirs in such little time and some people have to wait for ages...I wish the whole process was a bit more transparent and with some progress updates so we could all have some comfort that our applications are being processed and not just sitting there

I hear you. What also baffles me is that it seems like in India it is done in days, london takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r and others a couple of weeks. But, strangely, my permit came from Vegreville. Weird.

Haha...that is random! I assumed permits came from
Mississauga or Ottawa or Calgary or some other big city

That is, considering it should have gone via London.

Oh well, who cares? I got it and have now booked flights.

Just to share with you all that i have received passport request today from London visa office so within next week will send my passport via courier service to get visa stamped on it !

All thanks to GOD without whose help or blessing it would not have been possible !

It shows that even during the strike the LONDON VISA OFFICE is fully active and working.

It won't be starting monday. London is going on full strike.
