if i get married in venezuela and i come back to canada and start filling out the sponsorship papers, will that be sufficient evidence of our marriage??

go on the above site to find out what papers you need to sponsor your would be husband.
 
Yes that certificate is valid in Canada but you must traslate in English or French and then certify in Canadian Embassy

No, the Canadian embassy doesn't certify the translation, the translator certifies that it is a true translation.
