Thanks all for the replies!!

Now for another question, if I was to move back a few months into the application, would that be beneficial? I am ready to get out of Japan, just I worry that IRCC will not find my evidence to go back satisfactory. I was planning on sending emails to programs my husband and I wanted to apply for, a letter from my old boss offering us a job, and letters from my sister and parents that we are welcome to crash with them until we get settled.

If it is easier just to move back after a few months into the application that would be better. I have nothing but my husband tying me here.

Thanks again!

Yes moving back and reestablishing life in Canada is beneficial. Make sure you update ircc when you do with your new Canadian address etc.

Hi, I've a question regarding this.
I'm a Canadian citizen living abroad and sponsoring my wife living abroad.
I applied in June, provided a detailed plan to return to Canada as required in the application.

Anyway, I just got AOR and SA. Does having SA mean that I won't have to send more proof of intent to reside in Canada?

No, SA and aor have no relation to this step. When they have asked others for more it has come later, closer to where pre arrival would be, although they can ask at any time.

Thanks a lot @armoured ! We did receive pre-arrival. It'll be interesting to see if I receive this request.
