Is a proof of work experience document still needed for the Federal Skilled Worker class?

I was looking through the documents I would need to submit my application and noticed that this page states that a proof of work experience is required. However, this is not mentioned in the Documents for Express Entry page.

Which page should I be following? Do I need to get a proof of work experience document from my employer if I am applying for the Federal Skilled Worker class?
