Is a professional accounting degree mandatory to apply under NOC 1111

Hello everyone,
I'm an accountant with M.Com degree. I've been working as an Accountant for 2 years in a small sole proprietorship firm. I am thinking of applying under NOC 1111 but I don't have any licensed accounting degree such as CPA, CMA, CGA. My job features are consistent with that of NOC 1111 under Financial Accountant. Should I go ahead & apply?

Provided that your duties match the duties listed under the NOC, you don't need an accounting degree. I have successfully applied under NOC1111 without an accounting qualification. I explained in my letter of explanation that an accounting qualification is not mandatory for the work I do. I presume this is the case with you also.

I have a little question for you, please help me with that as I’m quite confused. I will be completing 3 years experience soon.
Out of which 14 months experience I have gained after my B.com degree In 2014. And then I did master of accounting from Australia completed in 2016 and now started working as an accountant to complete 3 years experience. Do you think I’m eligible for Noc-1111 with 3 years experience? As there’s big gaps in between cuz it’s harder to find accounting job in Australia
My CLB score is 10.
