Is a higher CELPIP score better?

I got my CELPIP results and I am above score 7 in all categories, which is good enough for my NOC level A. Just wondering whether it is beneficial, if I score higher, i.e. the application is processed faster or has a higher chance of being accepted.
In particular I'm unhappy about the speaking part, and probably could do better if I did the test again...Talking coherently for 2 min about random stuff is not my strength, not even in my native language.

Getting good score on language test won't give your application a leg up over others. Acceptance rate and PR depends on a lot of other factors. So if you meet all of them you have a high chance of being accepted.

i don't think it gives an edge if u score higher. As long as u meet the minimum requirements your application will be proceessed in the same time line as others that met the criteria

The application is fail/pass based, as long as your language level is sufficient, it won't make any difference.

CIC processing is quite transparent, surprised to read these questions.
