I called and the agent gave me no problems at all, she said it was received June 8th, opened July 19th and no decision has been made yet. Im kind of scared, but finding a post on a different forum where it took them 10 days to make a decision and they got approved im still a little hopeful but scared.
Relax. They opened ours in March, we didn't get a decision until May, and it was an approval. It can take a while, but they usually make the correct decision even so, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
CIC sometimes wants verification from other organizations, and the wait could be because of that.
My decision was made 4 days after it was opened, and my CAIPS notes said they were waiting for information to make sure my ex didn't apply for welfare. If you know everything is clear...there is no need to worry!!!
is there anything you can think of that made them take that long? I think mine might be that my wife didn't include a option C, but a note stating why with recent pay stubs and latest T4's. Not sure, but a possibility. :
