Is a bank statement enough...

Hello,

I would like to know if my printed on-line bank account statement would be enough to send to the visitor
visa officer or does it have to be a written note of assets from the main branch to proof its validity?
I am asking because I went to my bank branch and they told me that it would cost $17 per letter of asset for each account I have.

I really need an answer since I will be sending the application tomorrow.

I would also like to know if my spouse needs to send a photocopy of her American multiple tourist visa or just the Canadian Tourist Visa?

Is is better to get it on the bank letter.. statements can be altered..

But is it really necessary to get a bank letter of asset? I mean it is not a requirement but just proof of the saved funds I have in the bank.
I would like to know if anyone else has another answer?

I personally didn't send in a letter of asset as my print off came right from the bank when I went in for a visit

Yes I think a print out is fine bcuz all my teller did is ctrl P and voila thats all no fancy letter head nothing and like u I was not shelling out extra funds this process is expensive as it is IMO

My spouse is waiting for her residency in Canada with me.

not an extension but for an inital tourist visa application my hubby lives in Jamaica so hopefully he can get a TRV so he can come visit for Xmas and other important dates as he gets more vacay than me

Hi..a printed bank statement from your online banking is enough..they would recognize the document..i used those on mine and it worked just fine..
