Better than a taxi driver.. and by the way, MBA is nothing special anymore and you won't make 70 grand out of school. http://www.payscale.com/research/CA/Years_Experience=Less_than_1_year/Salary

This is very misleading. Having an MBA means nothing. I have one, and it did nothing to help increase my income potential AT ALL. In fact, it actually limited my prospects because some recruiters assume those with MBAs are too expensive and will get bored too easily in a job. Companies are not hiring solely on education, they are hiring on network and skills. I'm curious where you get this assumption... do you have an MBA and make more than 70 grand a year, fresh out of business school? If so, bravo...please share your experience. If not, stop trolling.

Like i said before $70,000 w/2 weeks vacation for someone's FIRST job in Canada is pretty good. unless that person has a very specific skill that can't be found in canada, this is a very high starting salary.

Oh my..Where did I say with an MBA you make 70 Grand? Nowhere. Where did I say an MBA helps? Nowhere. I am certainly not trolling.. I have been here long enough to know what gets you a job. Exactly what you said.. skills, connections, network.

oh my myself... i think i mis-ready your quote or i meant to quote someone else? it looks like we agree on the merits of MBAs. so sorry about that! i think this was the comment i was trying to quote? i honestly have no idea...obviously it hits a nerve when i read something about MBA's getting paid mucho bucks. again, my apologies for assuming you were the troll. my bad! :)

I'm not sure what your point is. According to this report (http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/-/media/files/programs-and-areas/fulltimemba/Rotman_Full-Time-MBA_Employment-and-Salary-Report_2013-2014.pdf), some MBA grads earned $180,000 after graduating. Does that mean that anyone with experience should reject a job that pays less than that?
