Is 12000 cap just for a NOC B?

Hi,

Few people are telling me 12000 cap on CEC applications is just for NOC B. But its no where specified on CEC website.

Few people are ignorant. Only believe what you read. Every NOC B has 200 cap limit. But total limit for all NOC A,,B,,C combine is 12,000.

hi gladaki,

only nocs 0-A-B are eligible under cec with the exception of the 6 nocs announced by cic earlier this month.so noc C is not eligible and same goes for noc D.

1. OVERALL limit, for all NOCs combined is 12000.
2. Each occupation, within each NOC has a 200 limit.
3. Some occupations that fall under otherwise eligible NOC B are not accepted (see the website.)


The most important number is the overall limited. The second most important nuimber is the 200 cap for each occupation.
Do not believe friends. Do not believe consultants. Do not believe anyone or any website OTHER THAN CIC.

Only to confirm, as already answered, the 12,000 is an overall cap for CEC applications including skill level A, B and 0 NOCs.

200 limit sub-cap for each occupation only applies for noc B and the overall for nocs 0 A B is 12000.
