Just wondering if it is possible that having 1 year of skilled, continuous Full-time or full-time EQUIV (in part-time hours) at NOC level 0,A or B IN CANADA can really be worth a whole 19 points ? ie. 9 points for 1-year of FTE skilled work experience (5 years ago), and then simultaneously... 10 points for Canadian Adaptability (for having 1 YEAR skilled FTE in Canada) ????

That just seems a little disproportionate to me... however I may have this exactly....

I have 2 years part-time (FTE > 1750 HOURS) , continuous, skilled work experience (at NOC level A) IN CANADA! .

So now I am wondering if that 2-year part-time job all on it's own will give me 19 points for FSW?? (ie. 10 for Canadian adaptability + 9 for 1-year of skilled work experience in the last 10 years)?

Could it really be possible that I have a whole 19 points right there? (It is more than the 1560 hours required for 1 year FTE value). If so, I will jump for joy, knowing that I have well over the 67 points, maybe even close to 80...

you'll get 10 points for your adaptability for sure.
also, you fulfill the 1560 hours, so technically you should get the 9 too for the work experience.

note: as I said earlier, please get it clarified with seniors....

its better if you post it here

Thanks,

I'll post it in that thread too.

So you think that the 10 points for Adaptability can definitely also be awarded for part-time work (if it's FTE) ??
