Wedding not everyone is really here to help others. I am sure many are here to make money so they would say anything to confuse the person who is already confused.

I would like to know how to get the VO officer to actually read the message or the message be forwarded to him or her. Is there a person higher one can make complaints and show what responses one has been getting in one's emails? Should I put this in my email and highlight it and capitalize it saying PLEASE DON'T SEND ME A GENERIC REPLY. PLEASE SEND THIS TO THE RIGHT VISA OFFICER.

Well you can try that. You can say in your email its very urgent and "For attention of Senior Visa officer only"
or please pass my email to correct visa officer / Supervisor

Thanks

Sir, With respect its not asking chest-span less than 38 inches (for you it can be if you already know these things from your experience but not for us) its a serious question, I asked once about documents and then about Academic Ielts if its still ok to take for old applicants and totally irrelevant answer. Again with respect because you admitted before that you do the same job like these Visa officers more or less so you will defend them at any cost even if they answer irrelevant to your answer. Plus if you have learned these things from your expeirence doesn't mean every one else also knows.

Also I find you try to be very complex in your answers either unknowingly or purposely and use difficult / weird / too technical phrases and sentences which are hard to understand. If you really want to help people here don't use this official language and explain in simple words. Also I found reading this forum that when some body challanged your opinion or asked clarification you just ignored him / her and gone.
No Pppp, I didn't think it that way... and definitely I wasn't weird or bombastic... the OP wanted to know who answers his/her queries@a CHC -- and I believe I replied that correctly/positively... in 'simple words', didn't I?

Besides, if I didn't answer someone - I might really not know its reply, though under most cases I'd admit that to the pax who asked it to me directly. But pls accept my apologies if I hurt u somewhere, rest assured if I did, it was unintentional.

weddingtonite,

QORAX is really helpful to me and many like me asking questions in this open forum. His advise is always mature, thoughtful, path giving, and to highlight in SIMPLE, UNDERSTANDABLE, EASY LANGUAGE.

You have misunderstood him. Read his topics carefully, in fact, to contrary to your words, He is famous for simplifying the complex, weird, technical aspects of immigration. many of hi topics are example of this thing. ( Few of them are " background checks explained" & " caips notes codes" etc etc etc.)

In addition, when I personally was a beginner, I asked him many things which he always replied, be it PMs or open discussions. I dont think he tries to ignore any body's questions, provided he knew the answer.

He is prepared enough and knowledgable brave guy to face any one's challanges and clarifications.

firstly research about him and then comment.

TO ADRESS TO YOUR AND KRAMVI'S CONCERN ABOUT IRRELEVENT EMAIL RESPONSES FROM VISA OFFICE, pls. note that I would like to add that they dont answer general questions whose answers are given on their website, manuals, press notes, journals etc. but for rest of the answers they do reply. This is based on my personal experience.

Well everybody is entitled to his / her opinion. I would like to share some of my own experience. I personally wrote to local visa office many times and mostly got irrelevant answers. First time I wrote them that

1) I didn't want to send them my original education documents as I only got one set of originals so I asked them is it possible that I send University certified + notary attested documents in University sealed envelope (bcz University doesn't issue 2nd set of originals) instead of originally sealed documents in university sealed envelope. To my utter surprise they replied to me that if you have recently submitted documents they can't acknowledge each and every email, totally irrelevant answer

2) Next time I wrote them about my friend that can old applicants take Ielts Academic test. I got the same reply again as above.

After that I lost hope that there is no point writing to them and asking a query. I think some other people have also asked such questions and got irrelevant answers.

Rest I leave on readers to decide if these visa officers are really doing a good job or merely wasting our time or their own time.

Thanks every one for reading this.

What Mr.Qorax has said about "38-span waist" becasue to him it might look like a stupid question but for me or others it was a serious question. I think some other people have also asked such questions and got irrelevant answers.

1. Everyone has to submit transcripts/mark sheets in sealed university envelopes, why would you be any different?
2. They won't answer questions that are available on the web sites, your IELTS question is answered on the CIC web sites.

Dear Sir PMM,

1) Its not that I want to be different its that I care more for my belongings and I didn't want to send my only originals. I know many people on this forum who have been waiting for years and whose originals got stuck with CHC london. Some people are really upset that they can't even apply for other jobs or immigration because they don't have originals. They even have written to CHC London to return their originals but in Vain. I see myself wise not to have sent my original docs.

2) Regarding Ielts it was related to an old applicant who wants to improve. He applied in 2007. There was a confusion so I posted that question on this forum where some people said that he can take Academic while others said he can't. Some suggested to ask the visa office thats the best so I done it. Would you like to answer that?

Many thanks for your time

kramvi, you can't demand that your queries should be answered by actual VO., the queries normally get answered by front office clerks, whether general and sometimes specific ones also as Qorax has rightly opined.

You can ask them that you want the actual VO to answer you but how would you know who is your visa officer and that, that s/he has responded to you.

Whatever you write whether polite/harsh, it goes into your file, I ordered my CAIPS/GCMS and every single communication to and fro was there in that.

If you really are frustrated and want to take it further then you can write to Jason Kenny, minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada but then again, you might still get a generic reply from him as well.

They might be unprofessional but that's how they work. They receive thousands of queries every day mate.

Hi Ahmad!

What if some body writes a general query without providing his file no, date of birth, address etc,, do they record that as well?? thanks
