Irish needing help.

I had a working visa and arrived in Canada on November 19th 2010 , i stayed for one year. I returned to Canada on my second working visa in April 2012 and will currently be staying until next april.
I am dating a Canadian for a year and a half and we have been living together since April when i returned.

I need to find a way to stay here.

My current job can be classified as a sales associate, Front house manager or Food server. I have been working in my job since april 30th. The company is a bakery and cafe. Unfortunately they are unable to sponsor me.

I have a four year honor degree in Graphic design and multimedia.
I am 23 years old and from Ireland.
Studying in canada is not an option.


Can you please give me some information of what i can do.

Hey Man ,

There is two options you have - one is get a spouse visa .
second is find a job in you profession or in NOC category A or B .

btw What province you are in right now ?

I'm in B.C. I won't be able to apply for a spouse visa until next april when my visa runs out, as that is when we officially will be living together for the one year period.

I was just reading over the federal skilled worker. I think i do classify under management. I was an assistant manager with high supervisory responsibilities in my last job and now in this current one too.
"a skill type 0 (managerial occupations) or skill level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list."
I have worked one whole year as an assistant manager in canada and again since april this year.

One option is CEC class but you need to have 2 years experience in 0 ,A or B Category since you are on TWP. But they are changing the rules next year to make the requirement one year from two .
meanwhile your best option is to change the employer and ask your new employer to get you LMO before your visa expire.with LMO you can renew your visa for another two year.that will give you enough time to apply for your residence under CEC.

BC PNP is also another option for you with your new employer as BC has ease the rule for PNP.

If you get married you can apply for a spousal visa immediately after.
