IRCC wants Fingerprints from 10 year old

My friend's entire family's application for citizenship was denied because they want fingerprints from the 10 year old girl. But IRCC says they can't get fingerprints from the RCMP for a minor that young. Why does IRCC want the prints and is there a way around this problem?

There shouldn't be a request for fingerprints from a child. Post the exact wording of the request and the refusal with personal information removed.

Also IRCC will not deny a request for Citizenship because of this, they will simply make a request for fingerprints as part of the application process. As per the previous post please provide the exact wording so people are able to help you.
