You will most likely receive no response from him. They are aware of these inefficiencies and use COVID as an excuse for practically everything. I don't know why they decided to go with this portal idea as everything was fine when they sent the COPR through email. Unless otherwise indicated, they can just use the photo that we submit during e-APR and use our mailing address on the application to automatically send the PR card to our address once they approve the application. The mailing address is a dead giveaway to determine if a candidate is in Canada or not and they could ask candidates that are not in Canada to raise a webform if they are currently outside Canada or have recently changed address. Either way, a change in address should be informed to IRCC through a webform.

Cool, did you get any email or you had to check manually on the portal? And was your office Etobicoke and when did you uploaded on the portal? thanks
 
Yes, I got an email "Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident (PR) of Canada! IRCC has uploaded an electronic copy of your electronic confirmation of permanent residence (eCoPR) document in the PR Confirmation Portal."
After sign on the portal I was able to download ecopr.

After sign on the portal I was able to download ecopr.
From which local VO processed ur COPR? Mine is in Calgary and I've been waiting since the 14th ☹️. I really think it just depends on the VO. Other VO offices are not using the portal and seems a little bit faster. they just verify the address either thru email or phone and that's it. Sidney processed my application in less than 6 months however they had to send it to the local VO.

Received first email for credentials on 10th December, replied in 10 minutes, got confirmation portal sign up email in 20 minutes same day ( 10th Dec). Immediately submitted with details like address and photo upload. Waiting from Dec 10th, called IRCC 3-4 times, sent email to mp. Finally the day has come becoming permanent resident.
I have noticed it's all luck, some people even got copr within two days after submitting the details on the portal. They ( IRCC) may be facing some technical issue with the portal.

Has anyone tried to login to the portal? I tried logging in since last night still im getting errors saying there's a technical error when handling the request try again later.

I do not have any problem accessing the portal. I can log in to my account. The only problem I have with the portal is that I have been seeing the same annoying screen without a single difference for 5 weeks.

I have the same error. Like you I also received email from Calgary for the portal.
