IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Thanks, the reason I asked is the agent said to us is that you are on invitation list for the third week of May but it will only be confirmed once you receive the formal invite though e-mail. What is your opinion, do you think once they put you on the invitation list, can they change their mind later on?

Here the DM on application is since 17-Feb.

You are all set mate. Just keep an eye on the invitation email. If 3rd week of May is ceremony then you will get an invitation a week to 10 days earlier than that.

I think it's just a warning that the date is just an estimate, not a guarantee. Other things can happen out of their control, such as further office closures or technical issues.

If you fulfilled your conditions up to the oath date (residency, no crime, etc.), you really don't need to worry about getting un-invited.

As expected - my magic email came this morning at 8:30 Oath May 10th at 11AM.

For those who already had the oath - the oath form is supposed to remain blank until oath day right?

Got a similar response when I called today to follow up. They mentioned a date but said it would only become official once an email is received. Till then anything could change and it was all tentative.

It's already sitting at "Decision Made"; they only update to that status once all the steps are complete and only oath is outstanding. Thus, chances of getting delayed once on invitation list is negligible in my opinion.

Looking at some of the recent posts, looks like multiple oath ceremonies are the plan in the coming weeks. In addition to the one on May 10, seems like there might be more ceremonies being targeted for next week. Fingers crossed.

From reading the information provided by IRCC through ATIP requests, it looks like Scarborough is scheduling about 300-400 tests per week, but they have 13,200 applications waiting for tests. So it would take about 1 full year to clear this backlog, the sooner you can applied in 2019 the earlier your turn would come. .

I don't know whats happening. They are processing application for December, and sending oath invites where as some of us have been waiting for next steps after test for 3 months now. Can anybody share some email address for Scarborough office? Sent them webform, called them, nothing is happening..
