@mbaleine thanks for this. Since paper certificate will take time(I can keep it once I have it) but I can still download e-certificate to apply for a passport right even if I choose paper certificate right?

I don't think that how it works - this is from the Notice - "The e-Certificate instructions email is system-generated and you do not need to create a portal account if you choose to receive a paper certificate."

@adstarscream732 In that case I guess I can request for e-certificate during the ceremony so I can apply for a passport using that. Paper certificate takes too long I heard.

From the Dec 2023 AOR list, I can see that there were around 10 people who got their LPP completed and their BGV completed on 04th March 2024 as well!

You get a paper certificate, right then and there which you can scan and use.

Thanks for the response.
I think they should give choice on the certificate part in in-person ceremony as well. Im just little worried about keeping the physical record's forever safe.

One year later...lol
Interview request: Feb 27, 2024 rescheduled for March 20, 2024 (Both requests showed on tracker ~ 2 weeks before, email came letter. Initial request was for an in-person interview in Scarborough. I no longer live in the GTA and had updated my address via webform months prior so I asked for virtual interview accommodation. Thankfully I was able to do virtual interview while on vacation in England. They wanted to see how I calculated my physical presence days prior to becoming a PR as I claimed days as a visitor)
LPP: March 20, 2024 (updated March 22, 2024)
Oath: April 10, 2024 (updated March 23,2024)
Paper certificate: April 18, 2024
Applied for Passport: April 19, 2024 (express application with proof of upcoming flight to pick up April 23, 2024)

It's been quite the journey and lesson in patience. This site was sooo helpful for both my PR and citizenship applications. Beyond grateful.
