No updates after this. Why? I have more than enough days to meet my residency obligation, provided proof of language, pay taxes to cra for years and years. Haven’t left Canada at all during eligibility period. They have more than enough to make a decision easily yet people that applied after me are already citizens. I can’t plan for vacation like a normal human being. Why can’t they approve my file I’m sick and tired of waiting and waiting and waiting
There are many. Just saw a post & many comments of 2020 applicants on FB. Not sure what criteria IRCC is using.

My partner is a 2020 applicant , finish background in Oct 2021, test passed in Jan ‘22. After that nothing … not sure what to do.

Same.

Another week gone with the Scarborough office delaying people’s lives.

Dude, you said you had some insights about the office - care to share?

I received an email from Scarborough office at 2:15 AM last night. I started email communication with them yesterday about postponing my oath ceremony & my last email to them was sent at 5:05 PM, so I thought they will not reply back till Monday.

My experience with Scarborough office is reasonably good so far. When decision was made for my spouse, we requested for scheduling early oath & they immediately scheduled it. Seems they are trying their best.

Hi everybody!
I got DM last Friday. Any idea of the average wait for Oath?
I know every case is different but just looking for an estimate for Scarborough office.
TIA

Email them and ask - they’re quite responsive when it comes to oath scheduling. Congrats !

I'm almost in same boat. It took them ages to send me a test invite and now again back into the limbo! it's been more than two months since I passed the test..never been out of Canada since I landed. Honestly, IRCC agents are just incompetent and the bureaucracy in Canada sickness me!

What's the average time between test and oath? 4 months?
