I am excited to announce that I have just received my citizenship certificate 4 working days after the oath ceremony. God bless the IRCC officer that handled my file.

Congratulations Calgarybabe! I had my virtual oath ceremony on Monday January 30th and I’m keeping fingers crossed that I get my citizenship certificate in the next few days hopefully

Does anyone know if SCR mails out Minor Applicants Citizenship Cert in a separate envelope than the rest of the family members/parents ?

Oath on 28th Jan. All Certs are mailed out on 30th Jan. Received only Minor’s Envelope today.

Email to ask what? The website says it’s taking between 4-6 months, though most people get it earlier. You really can’t nudge them to give you an oath date.

If everything is completed and only oath is pending, nudging works @becca545
Many are trying to do it via MP office too.

Link to this information please. My LPP was done on 18th Jan and waiting for Oath date. Few SCR ppl had their LPP done after me and have Oath ceremony in early March.

I called IRCC helpline number, the agent confirmed to me. Also I emailed the same email id to which we originally sent the signed Oath forms. Got reply from that office as well.Both confirmed same date 30th Jan mailed out. So I’m thinking they’ve got that part right !

If you got ghost update this week that's mean only you got it,and it means your oath on its way to you.
