Anyone has done interview to assist their Language? Is it general questions or a Language exam ?

My language skill was immediately updated as completed following the interview but prohibition and presence are still in progress. Strange.

Do they ask you about original documents, passport, language proof, ... etc

All IDs. Where you work, why you're still outside, when you plan to come back, etc.

@Dreamlad in my case I have everything completed except for oath ceremony. But I still got an in person interview request for next week. Nothing makes sense when it comes to IRCC.

@Dreamlad I think I read on this forum about people getting "in person interviews" the odd part is that I'm getting interview after "decision made" in the old tracker. It's a family application, but I'm the only person getting an interview. My wife hasn't received an invitation for the interview. The interview request came after I contacted my MP.

I agree that there is some issue with sequencing of applications. Aug-2021 applicants are getting citizenship while 2019 applicants are still stuck, but there could be reasons (valid or invalid) for it. May be they are divided in different sections to process applications from different years.

Let's not forget that applications don't just depend on one institution. For a citizenship application, I can list CBSA, CRA, and CSIS as institutions that provide feedback and reporting on each individual case (there are probably others). So I presume that's why cases aren't dealt with in the exact order they arrive.

Now why applications from 2019 seem to be disproportionately affected by delays I don't know.

I got my test done in november 2021 and no update since then, these notes are from my GCMS report. Note 1 is about an email.
