Received a personal phone call telling me that my "application is not considered as urgent" it will go through normal course, and currently things are being processed quickly as they have standard processing times.

It would have been faster for them to verify my Language Skills than wasting time making that phone call.

Once fingerprints are submitted how long it will take to reach and have the file updated. This is my second fingerprints request.

RCMP processes the request in 1 week and sends it to IRCC. Even though the FP results are received by IRCC, it takes time at their end to update in the portal. Mine took about 2 weeks just at IRCC. So anywhere between 1 week to 4 weeks.

I just received my GMCS/ATIP notes. Online June 2021 applicant and did my test on February 11th 2022. The notes show that /Language/Residence/Prohibition are still “Not started”…. And due date says 2022/09/03 which I think is based on my AOR date 2021/09/08.

looks like it’s going to be a long wait for Scarborough online applicants…. Ugh

People who applied months after you already received citizenship because their files were not sent to this office. This office is a joke, maybe they get bonuses for accepting too many files even if they fail at doing the rest.

For me,ATIP notes says due date for "Language/Residence/Prohibition" is 2020/03/24. It is like book of 54 pages without any useful information.

OMG! 2020? I can’t even imagine waiting that long. Must be so difficult. Sorry I have no idea why this process so disorganized and random.

Could someone tell me if GCSM notes are requested through ATIP or Privacy Act? I submitted my FP on 1st April and it was received on 22nd April by IRCC, so while requesting the notes should the department concerned be IRCC or CSIS? Also, what are the expected timelines on these notes?

ATIP. About 4-5 weeks. You can order for IRCC which will get you GCMS notes regarding application. CSIS and CBSA will be regarding your security clearance but most of it will be redacted due to privacy.

Same. My ATIP notes suggested due date 1 year after AOR for language/residence/prohibitions as well.
