IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Took my oath yesterday. Hopping it won't be to long to send the certificate

Congratulations ,
This is very Frustrating , our application decision was made on 15 Dec 2021 and haven't received any oath whereas some one after us got DM made and got oath invite first .
Any ways other than waiting like an iditols we have nothing in our hands. Lets hope for the best .

Unfortunately it’s not clear why there is no queue system even for the oath after DM. Many people who got DM in oct and nov including myself have been scheduled for oath in late march and newer DMs in Dec and Jan got their oath in Jan and Feb.

Thank you… i would recommend you to send them an email and giv ur genuine urgency… i told about my travel doc going to expire and they obliged my request… thanks to them… but yes its frustrated and annoying sometimes…

For Passport Appointment:
Tried to walk into the Scarborough passport office with a confirmed flight ticket 1.5 weeks away and was turned away. Everyone in the walk in line was turned away basically and asked to book an appointment.

A lady who was in the line said she is travelling this week and tried to walk in last week and was asked to take an appointment which she eventually did but its closer to her travel date so she has to pay for expedited processing..

Basically its another way for them to strongarm you into paying more money.

Book the appointment well in advance if possible.

I did my test on June 31 and was asked for the translation of my passpport on Aug. Still no change on my status (physical presence) and no news from them. Can I do anything to accelerate the process?

I'm an August 2019 Applicant. Does anybody know when online applications were introduced for citizenship? When I applied, I believe there was only paper based. Anyways, I know dozens of people who applied in 2021 via online application, and they already have their citizenship and passport. The employees are working from home and only have full access to online applications at the moment. I wonder how many more years this process will take. Only background check is completed for me ,all other headings are in progress.

They don't answer webform.
They don't answer the phone. I have been trying to call for the last 60 days, at all hours, including 8am sharp. Message "we have a large number of calls and can't connect you ,goodbye" , they just put this message for everybody. I have even tried to click other phone options for other reasons, and they all say this message and then hang up.

They said once you complete the webform someone will contact in 2 days to book the appointment. God knows what date is available, it depends on the location I guess.

Be ready to shell out another $50-$150 urgent or expedited request.
