IRCC Processing after application for PR

Dear All,
I will like to inquire what are the check processes by IRCC after submission of PR applications?
Example;
1. Do they call on your employers to confirm your information (appointment, salary, position etc) as provided?
2. Do they call your bank to confirm your accounts and balance?

I would appreciate your knowledge on this.

1. They can if they don't feel satisfied by the docs you submitted. I don't think they'll ask about salary though.
2. Pretty common for them to do so.
