IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal email only for dependent

Hi all,

My spouse has got the confirmation of PR Portal email yesterday late in the evening. Even though I am the primary applicant, I have not got any email of this kind. What should I do now? Should I just reply back her details alone or should I add my details along with her's?

I would reply from your own email address, put both of your information in the email but make it clear who the principal applicant is.

Yes. Actually, if you are in Canada on an employer provided work permit, there is a high chance that the email address of Attorneys, who handles your Work Permit application, being stored in your UCI/Profile. So, they would be receiving your email.

Alternately, you can respond to the email that your spouse has got and include the information of both.

Facing a similar situation but the thing is either me or my wife did not get any email. I got the update from IRCC GCKEY asking us to reply to the email and confirm UCI, port of entry etc., but no emails.

we got portal 1 the same day, me and my dependent August 22, today, my dependent got her portal 2 but i did not receive mine, im the principal applicant.
does this happen often?
what do i need to do for me to get my portal 2?
calling them is useless.
can i resend the portal 1 reply?
can i do KAI method to get portal 2?

Hi bro it’s same happened with me
Me and my husband both got portal 1 request on November 21 and we both replied back in same email so my husband got portal 2 request on December 3 and he is my dependent but as I am the main applicant I haven’t received it and I called IRCC so agent told me to reply back on his portal 2 requested email that primary applicant and dependent both needs same portal account and wait so now I am waiting after all these please reply back if you got any update ??
