Hi,

We have received the letter requires to send original PCs from our residence country directly to Case Processing Agent in CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia. We have never mentioned that we are interested to move to NS. Our first application (was refused two months ago) was processed in IRCC office in Ottawa. Now we wonder if NS office just helps the Ottawa office to process the applications or they are going to send us a nomination to Nova Scotia.:cool:
P.S. We applied for FSW - Outland.

CIO Sydney is usually the first place where an application for Express Entry under FSW-O stream in processed. After CIO Sydney, the file moves to other Visa Office like Ottawa or your local Visa Office.

Now I understand :) They didn't requested it in the first time, so it seemed strange to us. Thanks a lot!

Not Yet. What about you?
Last time it took 3.5 weeks, this time - a week, because they used the medicals from our first application (passed in June 2017, expires in March 2018).
Have you tried to send them an email to ask about your medicals?

4th week since AOR and no sign of medicals being passed. I mailed them 2 days back to get to know my VO. They told me that my application is still at CIO Sydney. Can I ask them about the medicals?

I saw in www.myimmitracker.com that for some people it takes more than a month to pass the medicals and for others much less than that.
Anyway I would send an email to CIO Sydney and ask about the medicals.

Yeah, recent trend is PPR issued within a month in some cases. IMO it has to do with the NOC.
I will definitely send them an email to enquire about my medical results at start of next week.
