Hi there recently an email was sent to me by IRCC . They issued me a new application number stating that it had found an administrative error but did not specify on it. I went and check the status of my application using my UCI code and I saw what shock me because my spouse was not the person in my file, it was someone with the same name but a different maiden name .Would have they processed this person and after 1 year since IRCC received my application it now said that they made a error? Is there anything or anyone I can speak to about finding out what really happened?

Have you tried calling IRCC? It's never easy to get through but if you call as soon as the lines open in your time zone it's more likely to be possible to speak with someone. Otherwise, webform? Direct email if you have something with the office handling your file with an email address listed?

Hi there,

I have a question, what comes under the administrative errors when issuing a PGWP? anyone knows?
If a student with 1 year of PG diploma gets PGWP with 3 years duration, then will that consider as a clerical / administrative error?

I am asking cause, IRCC bring new visa immigration rule that gives immigration officer the authority to cancel Visa at the airport when they found the work permit document has been issued based on an administrative error?

I would appreciate your replies and thoughts?

Thanks
