Are you waiting for IRCC to decide on your application for the past 10+ months, while IRCC is boasting 10 months timeline?
Oh no, infact some of you are waiting since 2020...i'll let the VIPs on this forum, count the months...as they are the ones who always defend IRCC.

Your application is forgotten by IRCC OFFICERS!!!!

How its done? CBC has forced Federal Govt to make this investigation public. IRCC officers used to assign applications IDs of officers who are no longer working. Once a file is assigned to an officer who no longer works - who is going to work on that file? NO ONE!! THAT'S WHY YOUR FILE IS STUCK SINCE 2020, 21, 22 OR EVEN FIRST HALF OF 2023.....and random 2024 applicants are getting COPR.

Next time, if you are sending a Webform or writing an email to your MP - remind them of the above story.
Tell MP clearly that you suspect that your file may have been assigned to An Inactive IRCC Officer's ID, that's the file is dormant for months and years. NO ONE IS WORKING ON IT!

I hope the VIPs on this forum dont take it personally, after all why should they, unless they work in IRCC themselves....but even if they do - who cares!
We know you are incompetent that's why IRCC is known to be a haphazard organization with no accountability!

There are a lot of applicants on this Family Sponsorship Forum who have been waiting for more than a year - to be with their family members.
Time and again - we are told here that don't look at others' timeline....or perhaps your application is Non-Routine.

Based on the above CBC story, who knows if your application was made to be NON-ROUTINE - because one of the officers didn't feel like working on it. Like it OR not, there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY IN IRCC. NONE!

Anyone who has been waiting for their Family Sponsorship application for more than 12 months - and there has been no update on your tracker for past 8-10 months - SEND A WEBFORM TODAY - Quote the heading of the news article above...

Tell them that you suspect that your application may have been assigned to someone - who is no longer working.
Ask them to investigate and respond.

If you are a Canadian Citizen or PR - its your RIGHT TO ASK IRCC OFFICERS TO PERFORM....We wont allow them to sit and do nothing...and keep telling us to wait...
