Type: Online application
Location: Alberta
Physical Presence Days: 1156
Application: Single
Application sent: 4 July 2023
Returned: 3 August 2023

Just got my application returned today, and when I clicked on the link and logged in, it said
"In the calculation you have fewer than 1,095 days spent in Canada during your 5-year eligibility period."
"In our records, we cannot confirm your time in Canada before you became a permanent resident (PR)"

I was a visitor for few months and then had an open work permit for few months before getting the PR (sponsorship) and I did not travel outside Canada during this time.
I filled all the dates and everything perfectly in the application including my travel dates abroad during my PR status (0.5 day per day of stay as a temporary residence is counted). The calculator said 1156 days and hence submitted.

I checked the CBSA site, it says
"If you are applying for Canadian Citizenship, you do not need to request your Traveller History Report from teh CBSA. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) can collect the report on your behalf when needed since consent to share information about the entry/exit information is no longer required."
Also, it takes 30 days to get the traveller history report if requested.

I called the IRCC number in the afternoon, and it says no one is available right now to answer the call.

I'm not sure what to do. IRCC should have access to the travel dates from CBSA. I just submitted the web form on the IRCC website, not sure if I'll be getting a reply. I didn't even receive an acknowledgement email.

I'll try calling IRCC helpdesk again. But worst case, should I just attach my visitor visa, boarding pass of when I 1st landed and work permit in the optional documents? Not sure why they returned the application or why they could not find my temporary residence status or entry.
Or I could just request for travel history report from CBSA, it could cost and take 30 days, but I'm not sure if they would even let me apply coz it's for citizenship and they mentioned I need not apply.

Thanks
