IRCC asking for cv

Apply study permit online 16may
Biometric 22may
Receive a letter in My cic account to submit my cv with complete details of my education and occupation details for last ten years including company/institute names and fields.
I already provide my last ten years history in application form.
I'm confused now why the need my detailed cv .
Please any advise!!!

Probably they are looking at it positively and want to be sure of the background. Another possibility is that there is mismatch in information and instead of rejecting, they just want you to clarify beyond doubt. Nice of them!

if they want your CV, give it to them. its more detailed than the one you filled anyways. it wouldnt hurt

They want a detailed one just to be sure you don't have gaps during your studies and works. If they see some gaps for almost a year or 2 I guess that's a reason for refusal.
