Hello Friends, I am looking forward to have my ECA via IQAS, Can anyone please suggest as i have MCA and MBA both Degree from SMU so should i request transcript for both MCA and MBA and send it to IQAS , OR do i need to choose any one out of it or its better to send both to IQAS ?

You can send both if you wish to get them assessed. Just to understand both of these were done via DE correct?

I have completed B.com ( Regular), PGDM( Regular) from Welingkars, M.com( Distance) from Madras University . Now i am confused whether i need to send B.com transcripts also to IQAS or only PGDM and M.com would suffice.

I would say, send them all. If IQAS does not evaluate your M.Com as Masters, then you will be dooped.

I am in a similar situation. WES evaluated my 3 years B.Sc. 2 Years M.Sc. degree as Bachelor's degree(4 years) + Postgraduate Diploma (1 year) from Mumbai University. If I get Masters equivalency through IQAS, my CRS will get boosted up by 7 points..and this will really help.

So my questions are -

1. Did IQAS correctly evaluate your / your spouse's degree as Two years, Masters? OR One year Masters?

2. If it is One Year masters then will I be able to select 'Masters/post-graduate degree' in the Express Entry drop down? i.e., will I get the Masters points?

Request you to put some light on this. Thanks in advance.

Im also in same situation i have done my pgdbm from welingkars and wes has evaluated as a 1 year course so wanted to know about iqas does they evaluate pgdbm as masters please reply.. i have a degree and pgdbm..

Hello,

I have 2 degrees - 1. BMS from Khalsa, Mumbai ( 3yrs full time degree) &
2. PGDBA from SCDL, Pune ( 2yrs)

I am planning to get my ECA done through IQAS & have requested for Transcripts from Khalsa College as of now.

My question is as follows:

a. These Transcripts that i get from Khalsa College will further need to be attested by Mumbai University?
b. Do the Marksheets also need attestation from the College or University?
c. The Transcripts will have to be sent to IQAS by Mumbai University directly in a sealed envelope?
d. What are the docs that i need to send to IQAS?
e. There is an Academic Request Form on the IQAS portal, this needs to be filled by the me & the college issuing Transcripts & this form goes to IQAS though my packet or the University one which they will send?

I am sorry, i am just too confused about this whole thing. Can anyone help put pls.

I have a 4 years bachelors degree and 1 year Master’s degree from a private university of Pakistan. Can anyone tell me please if ICES and CES will provide me equivalency of 1 years master’s program as a masters rather than diploma. Because i know that WES does not consider 1 year Masters program and IQAS is currently not accepting ECA applications till May 2020.

Hey, i had applied for eca for immigration from iqas. By mistake, while uploading my educational documents, in the dropdown section, I selected it as diploma instead of degree. I have paid my fees as well. When i previewed my application, there it was showing about the documents uploaded. Is there any way out of correcting the error ? As am nervous that my masters degree might get evaluated as a diploma.

i have a query.
for example
my name is RAMESH KUMAR on passport
and
My name is RAMESH K on all my educational qualifications.


On the first page i mentioned my name as per my passport as RAMESH KUMAR so in the next page there is a question:
"Do you have any other name(s) that appear on your official educational documents? "

actually both the names are same. but in passport it is given in expanded form and in educational certificates it is given in abbrevated form


How to answer this?
